I love this quote by Dr. Joan Cacciatore:

“There is no pharmacy that can fill the need for compassionate interaction with others. There is no panacea. The answer to human suffering is both within us and between us.”

I do believe that if we are willing to connect with others compassionately and genuinely seek to understand rather than to convince, we have the power to heal humanity.

We may not be able to get everyone on board with this, but we can start where we are with ourselves, with our family, with our own circles of influence.

After all, what are humans without humanity?
